Up For Paws Christmas Food Drive 2020: Results
We kicked off food drive this year on Dec 14, about 2 weeks before Christmas. I didnt have any expectations regarding how much we could raise for the Animal Welfare Groups (AWGs) this year it’s been a trying year for everyone.
I was amazed by the response from our ever so generous Up For Paws clients. We did better than last year! More than 50% of our clients made a contribution. It shows tough times bring people together and communities get stronger.
This year, we supported the SPCA, OSCAS and Forget Me Not and raised:
- 850kg of Kibble (52 large bags)
- 720 cans of Wet Food
- 60 packets of Treats
- 70+ pre-loved items (toys, harnesses, bowls, beds etc)
