Christmas Food Drive 2020

Up For Paws Chirstmas Food Drive 2020

Up For Paws is doing another Christmas Food Drive for SPCA, OSCAS and Forget Me Not this holiday season. Last year over 60 different UFP clients donated over 400kg of kibble and over 400 cans of food as well as treats, toys, harnesses and even a mircowave!

Message us to buy food through UFPs at discounted rates which we will deliver to the shelters before Christmas. There’s a package for every budget. Any help great and small will be very much appreciated.

Why did we choose to donate to these Animal Wefare Groups?

SPCA Singapore:

SPCA is one of the largest and most recognizable AWGs in Singapore. We’re supporting the SPCA because I love what they’re doing with the #teachwithkindness campaign.  The positive reinforcement movement in Singapore got a big boost of support when the SPCA stepped into the forefront.

OSCAS:

Mary Soo, Founder of Oasis Second Chance Animal Shelter (OSCAS), was kind enough to invite me to their shelter for a tour.  I saw a shelter that was shortstaffed due to COVID but passionate and hardworking.  During my visit, the dogs were not stressed in their kennels and even though many were older dogs, they looked healthy and well taken care of, a testament to the volunteers and management.

Forget me Not:

I was introduced to Forget Me Not through one of our UFP staff.  Their dedicated volunteers spend countless hours patiently integrating dogs into the shelter and foster environment through trust and bond.  Forget me Not is a smaller AWG with limited resources.  I wanted to help support a smaller AWG where your contributions can make a bigger impact.
